Sand dunes are made by mountains of sand that the wind blows onto the mountains
of sand. But the wind those blow some off so you can see the lovely plants and animals.
well you cant always see the animals but its a very low chance that you will see the
animals.And the names are a skink.a spider related to the black widow and redback.
a kakipo .And it would be croul to run on the sand dunes because it would kill the plants
and animals.Thats why their is footpaths for you to walk on.
